    To go along with Disney Parks new birthday celebration announcement we just received the following: If you use your Annual Passport to enter a theme park on your birthday then you can get one of the following:<br /><ul><li>A special birthday FASTPASS ticket for certain attractions at the Theme Park you visit on your birthday; or</li><li>A Birthday Fun Card in an amount equal to the price of a 1-Day Magic Your Way Base Ticket* for you to use on your birthday for merchandise, recreation or fun activities at select participating locations at the Walt Disney World Resort; or&nbsp; </li><li>&nbsp;A 1-Day Magic Your Way Base Ticket for you to use any time until your next birthday.</li></ul><p>No cash refunds or credits will be given. Valid ID including proof of birth date required at ticket booth. Visit Disneyparks.com for details and to register for your birthday.&nbsp; <br />&nbsp;<br />*Ticket price at gate, excluding tax. Adults receive card in the amount of an adult ticket; children (ages 3-9) receive card in the amount of a child ticket. For terms and conditions of the card and details on participating locations, visit <a href="http://disneyparks.com/birthdayfuncard" target="_blank">disneyparks.com/birthdayfuncard</a>. <br />&nbsp;<br />The number of birthday FASTPASS tickets issued is limited and may not be available after 11 am.     Ya, the fastpass option seems like it wouldn't be that great. Does it give you fastpasses for your whole party? If it's just for you and you are there with a group, nobody really benefits. I can imagine a child really wanting the fastpasses to "skip" the lines, and then it working out rather poorly when the rest of their family has to wait.

    The past 2 years I've gone to Disneyland on my birthday. It's kind of fun to see "its your birthday" or whatever show up on the screen at entry. Both years I ended up with the SAME CM who when my husband said "look it says it's your birthday" looked at me as if to say, "big deal, now move out of the way"......funny in itself but it makes me feel kind of like Charlie Brown at Halloween.

    Anyway, it sounds like a fun perk for those of us with AP's :)

    There is NO requirement to Pre-Register, but based on what I know, Pre-Registering will speed up the process, as you will need to go to the Main Ticket Booths.

    Everyone will need some sort of Government issued ID, or a CERTIFIED Birth Certificate (under 18) to get the free ticket, but you don't need to do anything in advance (officially).
