You woulda thought that we were there to see Justin Timberlake or someone. Some came in groups of five, each of the girls dressed as one of the members. I kind of felt silly dressed as a mom. We waited a few minutes for the doors to open and finally the guy with the Mr. Microphone announced that it was time. The roar of the crowd could be heard for miles. Once inside we glanced at the merch booth and piratebrittany bought an old-school group shot poster for $10. We had front row nosebleeds so we had to take the escalator up two floors. We only had ten minutes before the concert was supposed to start, so we settled into our seats and got aquainted with our neighbors. The show was supposed to start at 8, but didn't. In the meantime, they kept showing ads for merchandise on the trons and the girls were screaming everytime something was shown. 8:30 came around and still nothing. In the meantime they were playing songs over the PA to keep us entertained. They played Soulja Boy's "Superman" and the entire arena stood up and cheered then proceeded to booty dance. PB and I were confused and our neighbor explained to us that this song was the latest craze. Whatever. Then on the tron they showed a Roberto Cavalli runway show advertising his Roberto Cavalli for Spice Girls line. They wore some of his designs throughout the show. At 8:45 dancers finally came out on the platform and the Spice Girls opened with "Spice Up Your Life." You had to have seen this stage! It must've cost millions. It was like a great big Transformer. After each song they changed their clothes and set. They played "Stop" "Say You'll Be There" "Lady Is A Vamp" "Too Much" "2 Become 1" and then their dancers had a mock dancing fashion show. Then Ginger came out in her sparkly flag outfit, Scary in her leopard print catsuit, Baby in her satin babydoll dress, Posh in her short black dress with a long train, and Sporty in her purple track suit. They performed "Who Do U Think U Are." Then Scary pulls and audience member named Ryan onstage and the dancers strap him underneath a ladder smack dab in the middle of the stage. She proceeds to perform Lenny Kravitz' "Are You Gonna Go My Way" complete with a whip microphone. She gives him a lapdance and climbs up and down the ladder, teasing him the whole time. Trust me, this made that kid's night. During "Viva Forever" the girls were standing on rotating discs looking like Barbies on display. After that song was over Ginger dissappeared into the floor which we shortly realized symbolized her leaving the band. The remaining four sang "Holler" which was off of their album they made without Ginger. The four girls took the dancers for a walk on dog leashes and the crowd went crazy. Then Ginger came out by herself and sang "It's Raining Men". Not to offend anyone, but I am so glad that we had so many gay men sitting in our section. The song had them up and dancing and having a great time. Then Sporty came out and sang "I Turn To You" off of her solo album. Scary, Baby and Posh sang a song we weren't familiar with and after it was done Ginger and Sporty came back onstage and the five hugged then held hands, symbolizing their reunion. Then the big screens in the background started showing pictures of the girls with their moms and they started to sing "Mama". The gay guy next to me gave me a hug during the song cause he adopted me as his mom. The girls then did a montage with "Celebrate" "Shake Your Body Down To The Ground" "That's The Way I Like It" and "We Are Family". They then told us that they loved us and asked us if we loved them too. The lights dim and they finish the show with "Goodbye". The encore starts and the girls come out in boxing robes for "If U Can't Dance". There's a pause, they take off their robes and broke into "Wannabe". They ended the show with a remix of "Spice Up Your Life" dubbing in "Humpty Hump Dance" while showing the flags of the world on the trons. It was one great big huge party. The glitter machines shot out tons and tons of glitter. We all went nuts, then it was over. I never thought I would enjoy a Spice Girls concert cause it's not really my type of music. But I recommend you go see them if you ever get the chance. It was well worth the money, even though the concert lasted less than two hours.

The best Spice Girls show I ever saw was 5 sixth-grade boys in a talent show :-D I'll stick with that one!
