When will the letters be removed?

Judging by the rate that the murals are being remove, I'm thinking sometime after the holidays. I'm most excited for the Golden Gate Bridge to be taken down.

Not at all. With the building closed in, it is difficult to see the amount of work being done on the interior.

Of course, but I was referring to the outside portion that we can see.

In regard to the letters it would be nice if they could find a new home for them somewhere. I'm guessing that they aren't salvageable though.

TLM has taken forever to be insulated!!!! I think they just finished the right side and they started on that months ago. It just looks pretty much the same as it did a couple months ago. Disney seems to do things pretty slowly.

They put the Christmas overlay on them this year so they will stay until January but idk why they didnt do Candy Corn theme. I liked that one also.

They didn't use the candy corn letters because they didn't have Candy Corn Acres this year. That's my guess. I miss them, they are my favorite "letter dressing".

I think the whole Candy Corn Acres saga is a little humorous. When they started the Halloween events a few years ago, they knew that they needed to have something major in DCA to offset the hundreds of pumpkins on Main Street in DL, so they came up with an idea for the Sunshine Plaza. Even at that time, they knew that the area wouldn't last long, so they came up with decorations that could be moved to the farm area after the Sunshine Plaza is redone, and still have a place where they fit in. Well, the Sunshine Plaza is still there (for another month or two), but the farm area has been completely torn out to make room for the entrance to Carsland. Ooops.

For what it's worth, it looks like there will still be some farm-related stuff (with Mater's as a transition between the two), so there's a chance that they can still use it. But they really only got 4 years out of their decorations that were meant to last a lot longer. They also had the candy corn 'corn' set up next to a little statue of Heimlich in the farm area year-round for the last couple years. Why we just be like TDR that gets completely new decorations every year?

Not completely! They had the fall garland up on the Mission tortilla factory tour, and they swapped out the lights between that and the bakery from white to red and oranges. So they kind of decorated for the season...kind of...almost...
