Again, I thought it was beautiful to see, but the back of it (that you can even see from the parking lot) was disappointing! Looks completely unfinished. :(

It's basically the same thing that was seen at Disneyland, where Indiana Jones was visible to one and all. That is, until they "dressed it up" with paint and false fronts. Wonder if that is being planned for EE?

Or are you referring to being able to see it from across the lagoon?

Frankly, who cares? If the ride is great (which it is), I'll put up with a view of the backside. Heck, in Disneyland as WALT ORIGINALLY DESIGNED IT (we are talking HOLY GRAIL here) all of the unfinished parts of show buildings were visible from the Sky Ride. Somehow Disneyland was able to struggle on and become a success in spite of it.

    Basically, get a life.

(Yes, I know. I’m getting nasty in my old age.)

BTW - I agree with you. the Matterhorn and BTMRR at DL, DLP are fully realised because they are in the middle of the park. Splash is not, nor is EE. Not an issue IMHO. Rather they spend the money on things that really do matter - e.g. custodial services.

You sure can't see the infrastructure from inside the park. (Which you CAN on Universal's Jurassic Park)

My personal view -- I wish you couldn't see it from the parking lot. I'd rather have just the mountain up over the trees to excite and attract.

But I'd rather have the money spent now on where it really counts.

Even the Matterhorn had holes in it. Remember the sky ride?

And wouldn't "StatlerAndWaldorf" be a great LP.com posting name? One of our resident curmudgeons ought to grab that up.
