It is most always land to land though with a runner for FP when the lines are outrageous and we have limited time.
(Don't cuss me out, we are line standers for the most part.) :)

Other days we go straight back to Frontierland and get tickets for the Golden Horseshoe, then ride Big Thunder, Splash, Haunted Mansion & Pirates. Or we fastpass one of those and ride the others. If we're staying on property, we always start with the early entry into Fantasyland or Toon Town when it's available.

Just talking about it makes me happy! We're down to 147 on the countdown : )

Always try to get in a Tiki show before calling it a day.

I guess we'll have to stay at the DLHotel this summer so that we can get Early Opening to get onto Nemo (of course, the lines might be so long - that you get in line at early opening so that you can ride it before the park closes <vbg!>)

I am usually the designated FP runner - so I'll get Space Mtn, then Buzz and/or Autopia - if I remember - I'll also get RRCTS since those FP's are standalone (you can get these even if you are holding another FP *AND* it's not time to get another one yet).

In the afternoon we repeat having fun with one character or another until the day shift goes home at parade time. Meanwhile, one of us is grabbing Fast Passes and keeping the cell phone on to see where our daughter is running off to next (it was more chaotic when the princesses were free to roam the park). Mid-afternoon we break to ride rides (Big Thunder, Space Mountain, etc.) or go to California Adventure. We have dinner at Mimi's Cafe and return for Electric Light Parade at DCA and/or the fireworks. Whew! Tired just thinking about it.

The great thing about Disney is that it has something for everyone no matter their age or stage of life.

DD is the navigator. She is the one that picks what we do, and when we do it. We are her bosses all year long...do your homework, eat your dinner, clean your room, feed your dog...but at DL we let her be the boss of us. I don't mind being led around by her one bit...as long as we're in DL.

Not that lines are a complete nuisance for me but the way the line is set up for that ride it is cramped and gets very stuffy with all those bodies. Then it is off to Matterhorn where I will stay for a while. I usually take the baby while the wife does Matterhorn with the older kids and get fast passes for Space Mountain. After that we usually head over to BTMR and then filter over to NOS then back towards Adventureland (I will have gotten fastpasses for Indy at some point) and I take the two younger kids on Jungle Cruise or Tarzan's Treehouse while the wife takes my oldest on Indy. Then we swap and then after that it is over to Plaza Inn for lunch and Tommorowland after that. We then decide where to go next after that. If my wife or I have our say it would be back to the hotel for a nap but it is usually back the Fantasy Land after that or Frontier Land. This is usually the first day of our trip. It is like we are starved for Disneyland so when we get there we just devour as much as we can. The other days are much more laid back and spontaneous.

In the evening I head over to Disneyland to see Fantasmic and the fireworks. With all the milfs around and the tight proximity it's a great time to play dead hand if you know what I mean...

Then it is off to Buzz and Space if the wait time isn't too long by then. If it is we get FP. By the time we are done with this DH is usually Jonesin' for Pirates. So it is off to Adventureland and FP for Indy if not already holding. Then usually Jungle Cruise while we wait for FP time. If we have a long wait we walk through NOS or go to Critter Country for Pooh and HM on the way back.
After that we are ready to relax with a muffin and coffee or such and take in the atmosphere and people watch. (Sometimes catching the first Billy show.) We never stay less than 5 days so we do not worry about getting anywhere. We cover it all eventually.
Often this will be our time to head to Toontown as I MUST do Roger Rabbit and then we do Small World as we pass. If the park is filling up we often head to DCA for Screamin' and Tower and Soarin' and we both enjoy Golden Dreams. A quiet, air conditioned break to contemplate what to do next.

    >> I'll also get RRCTS since those FP's are standalone<<
Last I heard all of the attractions are on the same grid now. Has anyone tested this?

The rest of the day depends on the crowds and if we're going straight through or taking a swim and or nap break at the motel.

We always do Star Tours and Space Mountain and Andre loves Buzz too.

One of the evenings we have a chicken dinner at the Plaza Inn and see the parade at least once too.

When we go to CA we try to start with Soarin' and take in GRR and Screamin' too. I have to catch the Block Party Bash and Electric parade if they're running too. We usually have a meal at Taste Pilots or the Trattoria.

We'll grab a fast pass and then check out HISTA, Buzz, and then hit Space mountain and Star Tours back to back. Now we're itchin to ride Pirates and HM again so we go that way and catch Winnie the Pooh while we're over there. Time to head back to DCA and get wet on the rapids and then ride soarin, TOT, and Monsters Inc. Then it's screamin and we'll watch the kids get on the sun wheel (because me and FamilyGirl are too scared). Now for one of my favorite times of the evening. The Electrical Parade at DCA! After that it's TOT and Monsters Inc. one more time (we love those ones) and then it's back over to Disneyland for the dark rides, matterhorn, haunted mansion, space mountain, and splash mountain all at night time. (always adds a new experience at night) We'll usually hit pirates on the way over to watch the fireworks. That's pretty much it. I missed a lot because somewhere mingled in all of that is autopia, train rides, more Big Thunder (at night especially), and other little things that I surely forgot. (Muppets 3-d, Bugs land for the kids, storybook land canal boats, etc.) Anyway, that's kinda what a day at Disneyland in the life of FamilyGuy looks like. I'll be living it in less than 4 days. Oh how I can't wait!
