When does IASW open?

    Yeah, I noticed that it was not on the refurb list on Disneyland's website. Weird. It was originally scheduled for Nov. 29. Darkbeer posted awhile back that they were planning on a soft opening sometime around the 21st.

    That's awesome!!! I will be there then!!! Just looked at the calendar on the Disney website and it's off the refurb list on the 21st actually... does this mean they'll possibly open a little early?

    And they are hoping for a few days of soft opening operation before that, so I would start checking around November 17th, you might get lucky.

    It is basically a Hit or Miss situation. The purpose of soft openings is that guests are not expecting the ride to be open, so if the ride has to be closed to fix something (which usually happens whenever a new attraction opens (and in this case, the ride system is brand new).

    If you walk by the attraction, you should find a CM in the attraction entrance if they are planning soft openings. They will never tell you anything but, "The ride will not be avasilable today" or "The ride might be open to guests sometime today", they won't give a time frame.

    So you can ask, but don't expect too much information. They will also ask you to not wait near the entrance, but you can always go sit down across the Parade Route and watch for the queue to open.

    Don't hold your breath for the Nov. opening of iasw....there is tons of activity every nite inside and outside but still ALOT to accomplish.
