M-Sun on one island, with the wedding on saturday and than leave sunday on a cruse to return the following sunday. So guess what? The cruise gets cancelled. The boat we were going on was owned by star cruises and leased to Norweigen. Well star decides they want their boat back. ack!!!!! So scramble time and there is no island hopper cruise that fits our already planned airfare that was a package with our hotel stay at the Turtle Bay resort. Ok, thats fine, lets keep the plane schedule so we dont have to pay penalties. So we decided to hot the big island for the time we would be on the cruise. Ok. Find hotel, find little flight, we find the hotel we want, agent hooks us up. All is well. Oh wait, 2 weeks alter, Aloha airlines goes under. Which is what we booked our new hotel and island hopper flight with. Panic #2. Travel agent saves the day again. By this time I am at my whits end. What else could go wrong? Can anyone guess? thats righ!!!! ATA goes under. First flight plans to and from Hawaii as well as booking at Turtle Bay is gone. Fight with bank to get deposit back and we are off the races. I am about ready to kill someone at this point. As it sits, we still have the original dates, we have a upgraded room at the Turtle bay for the first week. We have a flight to the big island with hotel stay and rental car. So everything is fine for the moment, but I am waiting for the next big disaster to hit. Im sure its right around the corner.

(It also keeps them from causing any additional stress). I think that too much time is spent stressing about the big event. That is time that one can be actually enjoying the plans leading up to the special day. So when you look back you will think with fondness the excitement of the days prior to the big one as well as the big day. There is an old saying (and my grandmother's favorite quote) I am fond of and it really helps with my above philosophy. "Lord, give me the strength to change the things I can, the courage to accept the things I cannot change, and the wisdom to know the difference". This way you do not buy worry, when so much is given freely to you. (~~Smile~~) Congratulations on your impending Nuptials!
