So far, it has been working in helping to keep the main pathway clear.

Then in September, it will be discontinued for good. It was not included in the new fiscal year budget (starts October 1st). The main reason was the possible start on the River Belle remodeling and refurb walls in Adventureland. Even though that project has been delayed, the decision was made, simila to Pirates, the queue is efficient enough to run just Stand-By and it will help keep from having to use extended queues and allow traffic to run smoothly. (This is important, as it will help increase the Fire Marshall capacity, and allow more ticket sells on busy days).

I don't mind the good ole, pre-FastPass days when we stood in line for Indy. They put so many details in the queue area. When using FastPass, you just breeze right past all of it.

Also, with the standby queue outside, it can get a tad warm somedays. Now we can all wait in the A/C again.

I never liked the Indy distribution's location in the Junge Cruise queue. Its removal would allow more JC queue off the walkways without the need to force Guests up the stairs (which they are always hesitant to do, I've noticed). Since JC upstairs is avoided whenever possible, let's get the whole downstairs queued up again.

I know they wouldn't want to keep it on just 2 rides though as the fastpasses would go quick, so maybe keep it on Big Thunder and HMH. Buzz and Roger really don't need it. I've never understood why they have FP for Autopia.

What I would like to see happen is Disney strengthen the presence, marketing, AND enforcement of single rider lines. For attractions where specific seats go empty (Splash, Space, Indy, Matterhorn & Subs) single-rider lines still offer guests a chance to bypass standby waits while actually improving efficiency. Matterhorn would probably be the most difficult to adopt (and have the least impact on efficiency).

Disney would be well off to abandon the FP experiment and really target the rides where a REAL single-riders program could be a win-win.

Maybe I've just forgotten what it used to be like.

I think they need to re-think which rides should have it and which should not and at what time others might need it.
