Make more money for the company, provide a better experience for higher paying day guests.

    Every one is happy.

Luckily, they mainly only infest the brains of WDW CM's who actually think they are being clever and hospitable when they say it. You don't have to put up with them nearly as much at Disneyland Resort, with the exception of the hotels.

It hasn't happened in a few years, but I've had a few CM's at the Grand Californian tell me with a sappy, phony, fabricated smile "Have a grand day!". I almost puked.

Oh, and I've paid over $1000 for each of the last 3 years buying APs for my kids and me. I cherish the Parks, respect the CMs, and willingly help other guests. Please don't group me with the trashy APers.

Totally agree. Get rid of all the different types, just have 1. No payment plan, and ALL holidays are blacked out. $50 on black out days.

In reality they would like you to budget a thousand per month, not year, since they have given away entry!
This is not a comment against you it is a comment about Disney.
So I guess I will add the word local APers altho I wish I was one!

Just to play devil's advocate, you do know that "Disney's Land" was an early possibility for the moniker, right? But "Disneyland" won out. :p
