I had planned to meet up with the RAM1984’s one last time before she drove back to CA, to celebrate her bday, I was in DL on her actual Bday on 4/6. Miss Candice had the day off so she and her mom were able to join us too! On the way up we stopped at the Tulalip Casino and had their buffet lunch. This way there was something for everyone. We drove to the tulip fields about an hour away from where we met. Walked among the gardens, ohh’d and ahh’d at the fields of color and braved walking between the rows to get pics of the lone red flower in the field of yellow and vice versa. At one point in our trip we were walking across the street to the fields and hear “GET OUT OF THE ROWS!!†I’m like, get out of the road? Wha…? Anyhow it scared us enough to make sure we didn’t go far into the rows of flowers. If one of us forgot, We would shout, “GET OUT OF THE ROWS!â€, as a friendly reminder and to see the other tourists jump. This would usually bring the flag guy, keeper of the fields, running to investigate. Ah, good times. DH and I had a great time. It was nice to meet RAM1984’s DH and to see Miss Candice and her mom again. Two very funny people who we really enjoy being around.
