Lutz: Pixar Play Parade delayed to Summer '12

    Kind of a bummer, as it's a good parade. But seeing the horrific amounts of construction going on, I can understand it. And, in my opinion, the Pixar Play Parade works better as a warm weather daytime parade with water effects rather than the nighttime show it becomes when they do it in the dark around 6PM in December.

    Summer, 2012 is certainly going to be a huge deal at DCA!

    They could have run it on a short route from the gate next to first aid/former tortilla factory down to Paradise Pier. Early in the construction process, they used several variations on the length of the route, so I would presume that they might have planned to do the same thing for the run in December
