I have also stayed at the Hilton by DtD (which was known as the Village marketplace back then), and off-property once, at some forgotten motel. If I were to return, I would want to try the Animal Kingdom Lodge.

Obviously I like the Wilderness Lodge for its theme. But I loved the location of the Yacht Club and Dolphin. I also like Dixie Landings a lot. My least favorites were the French Qaurter and the Grand Floridian.

We were on the back side of building 4 of the 60's complex (one of the preferred locations), and it was so magnificent! Our balcony looked onto the lake, and at night, we could see the fireworks from Illuminations each night, along with the Epcot sphere. It was so wonderful and was an unexpected surprise for one of the value resorts.
