Here's the short video on YouTube... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v...YhH8KWLo Watch the video before it's pulled by the Disney Secret Police! The tires seem to move really slow and it looks very, um, mellow. I think this is one I'll just observe on June 15th and skip if the line is more than 30 minutes.

Yeah, the video looks like the product of someone only sort of attempting not to get in trouble. *LOL*

I've read the Lutz rumors on them, but looking at this video I can't figure out what they add to the ride. Maybe just a feeling of motion since the tires themselves move so slowly and are boring? I assume they'll get themed beach balls decorated like soccer balls or tires or meatballs or something. Do Italian cars eat meatballs? Maybe that wouldn't make sense. Soccer balls, that would work. And look at all those penants strung from the lights blowing in the wind. It must be pretty windy on this thing. I bet hats and glasses are flying around too. What an interesting ride concept here. Still, unless that line is 30 minutes or less, on June 15th I think I'll just watch this one a bit while I wait for my Cars Racers Fastpass time to arrive.

However, behind Rancho Cordova is a town/community called Mather. Mather was once home to the Mather Air Force Base, which was shut down during the Clinton Presidency to reduce federal spending after the Cold War was over. In it's place, home developers came in and started developing on the old air force base, creating the town of Mather. So, there's newer homes there, I think a new elementary school that is doing well and parks. The old Mather Air Force Base golf course is now a public golf course, and a VA hospital and service center (as well as a top security facility) are still on-site. There were concerns or news reports that the water source that was serving these new homes in Mather might cause male infertility (because of contamination of ground water from materials/weapons/oil/whatever not cleaned up by the Air Force when they left). I don't know if problems with residences' male infertility has proven true or not, several years later, as this was a topic that news reporters were covering when the homes were first being built and sold. But, the houses are cheaper, newer, closer to Rancho, and I believe that they have a good elementary school. I don't know where they go to high school though. So, it's something to consider. Just freeze some tadpoles become you move to Mather?

Yes, that would be a surprise that would get spoiled. A video of an OUTdoor attraction, that just floats on a cramped arena, tires barely moving anywhere .. that we are already familiar with, with the 1961-66 attraction Tomorrowland once had .... HARDLY a spoiler.

I just dont want to see it in action with the music and all. My husband thinks its bad enough i am looking at pictures and reading up on CL. I would like to have a few suprises when i visit. I hope they do speed them up faster, but i guess they dont want them being to rough with little kids riding?
