Brazil is always dangerous and will most likely win it. Italy is a little older don't know if they can repeat. Germany, losing Michael Ballack hurt them. Portgual is basically a one man team with Christian Ronaldo. Argentina has the best player in the world in Lionel Messi, but they may have the worst coach in Diego Maradonna. And last week my dark horse would have been the Ivory Coast. But since Didier Drogba got hurt and may be limited to play I don't think they'll get too far. But I am jacked up for Friday.

I just know it would be Manchester U or Chelesa since that would be like cheering for the Yankees, Lakers or Cowboys.

Originally Posted By fkurucz >>But since Didier Drogba got hurt and may be limited to play I don't think they'll get too far.<< That was a bummer. Beckham is also out with an injury (he's too old to be in the World Cup anyway). Watch out for Mexico, they could be this World Cup's surprise team. They are very ascendant right now (they beat Italy 2-1 last week in a friendly). I could see them maybe even making the semis. I am not so hopeful about team USA. I have seen them play friendlies lately and they just aren't convincing. Hopefully they will prove me wrong. Go Jozy Altidore!

It is hard to know who will have the best chance to win the world cup , until after the group stage, Brazil and Spain may meet in the round of 16 ..Chile has played well in the last world cup... I myself like Germany , Holland , Brazil and Spain...on the other side, but who knows..

The oldest son is going to Europe in 2 weeks and looking forward to watching the games over there!
