Studios Paris But why would or should Disney do that when those 4 are part of a 2 or more park destination and they offer the guest more. The 2 day itenerary was a joke (on one day, they actually suggested spending time around the Snow White well as part of your day, like that will take up an hour or something.) Three days was overkill, which included a lot of activities around your hotel. And you could do easily do most of all those suggestions (most Im not interested in anyway) still in a day for the most part if you cut out all the hotel stuff .

But truth be told, Disney knows it's only a one-day experience: take note of the fact that it's the only MK that doesn't have a multi-day pass for sale (other than APs). So, they don't even have provisions for you to spend two consecutive days at the park other than just selling you two separate one-day tickets. I think that pretty much tells you the whole story right there. And, the front-line CMs know it's only a one-day experience. When I tried to buy single-day tickets for two consecutive days, the CM strongly advised me against it, in the nicest possible way of course, and without explicitly coming out and saying that two days is one day too much.

My POINT was that you could use the platitude "an unforgettable day" for any park, even Epcot, Disneyland etc... Most people don't put it under a microscope quite as much as we do.

That was true of the old 2 park WDW imho, but not since they opened up MGM (I like MGM, don't get me wrong..but it clearly didn't stack up to the Magic Kingdom nor certainly amazing Epcot!).

That's really funny! >>> She had this half-amused, half-embarrassed look on her face and turned her eyes away momentarily as she smiled. Does that convey her expression? She came as close as she could to saying "Sir, haven't you heard?" without actually saying that. What's most interesting about this is that it was on the day after Opening Day. It was at the HKDL Hotel check-in counter, and I had arrived quite early, like 7:30am, and that was to be the first night that they accepted regular guests in the hotel. Based on what I observed, I think I bear the distinction of being the very first guest ever to purchase a park ticket at the HKDL Hotel. And even at that point the CMs knew that one day was more than enough for the park.

PLUS, back then they powerwashed the floors, polished the train tracks nightly, had a TON more entertainment (in BOTH parks, particularly when Epcot first opened), and so on. I suppose you could argue that I'm wrong, and if you did I wouldn't contradict you, but I do believe that the Magic Kingdom problems of today are more due to neglect than anything else (just like how Disneyland was falling apart just 10 years ago or so). In any case, I do feel that when MGM opened, the Magic Kingdom was a far superior park. I'll rest my case now on that one. ;p
