I guess he did more off camera, but they could have shown more acts if they didn't show Regis. I think the big suprise of the night, for me, was David Hasselhoff. (He was a guest, not a performer.) They said he has 6 Platinum records (in Europe). Surely, this is a sign of the End Times.

Poor music taste aside, Hasselhoff, in the words of my wife, "is an idiot." He sure comes off that way on the show. The Brit actually looks tame by David's standards. By the way...the wave through the 60+ year old stripper but argue about that juggler? Anyone who go waived through should be ashamed that the stripper and the granny rapper were in their company. And what was with the Renaissance group and their pony? Yikes.

I find them entertaining, but most of the acts are the same. The one guy that did the ballet like dance moves while juggling was, in my opinion, one of the best I've ever seen, much better than the guy who juggled knives standing on the board. Too bad the juggler from the Hunchback preshow in MGM wasn't there. He was a great act. In all fairness to Hasselhoff, at least he was willing to watch the acts, when the others were buzzing them, though I know he went off the deep end with the 60 year old stripper. I would have liked to see the guy with the musical saw continue, but they got it right with the nose flute guy.

The Judges picked 'The Millers' 2 brothers, one who sings and plays the guitar, and the other who just plays the harmonica. Personally, I think the judges should have picked the yodeling girl, as her act was the best. I didn't care for the Millers. I though the song was dull, had no rhythm, the singing was bad, and the harmonica sounded more like a canary caught in a vacuum cleaner. Maybe it was just me and the kids, because the TV audience seemed to like it, but I though the performance stunk.

I liked him, dangit! He's funny,a nd he's DEFINITELY the best ventriloquist I have EVER seen! Better than Edgar bergen or anyone else you can think of! And, OMG, what the heck was the dude with the cute little puppies THINKING when he chose that act? GOOD GRIEF! Painful to watch, man! Oops, CostCo is open... gotta go buy water. TTFN!

I like the idea that 'anything goes' and you never know what these folks are going to do. But the sum is definitely greater than it's parts. I don't much care for the judges - brandy, hasselhoff, and the british guy. I also think regis is out of his element here - the show needs a better ringmaster to keep it moving. Instead regis seems to slow it down. I thought the dog act guy was good on his first go-round, and even though his second appearance was like bad gas, it's oddly fascinating to watch someone bomb that badly.
