That store was very, very important to Michael Eisner. Placing Disney right in the heart of one of the world's great, famous shopping streets somehow made him feel better about being Mickey Mouse's boss. (P.S. The Times Square Disney Store closed years ago. The building was demolished and a new tower was built in its place.)

Hopefully it will remain a WOD store, and not be annexed into the Children's Place arrangement...I don't set foot in those stores since there is no adult merch anymore. At least the NYC World of Disney has park stuff, collectibles, and other things that interest adults...like clothes. I'll have to keep an eye on this one.
