They have really given us some true magical moments by the special attention that CM's give to us. We have figured out the best place for a person in a WC for Fantasmic; on the back row, up against the ropes. This works because everyone in front of us sits down. DL also has great places for us to watch the parades. But what about the fireworks? It is always a true fight for my sons to watch the fireworks. We've gotten close to the castle, and away from it, and it has worked ok, but I'm constantly fighting with people to protect my children's view. The problem is that people always seem to come and try to stand in front of my boys. I can't imagine someone standing in front of a child in a wheelchair so that their view is blocked, but it happens almost everytime we're there. Does anyone have some advice about this? Places that might work with good viewpoints? Any CM's out there with advice about how to handle people like this? Thanks in advance. W

I was at DL with a 75yo friend in a WC and we had a pretty good spot down a ways on Main Street. People were being pretty nice to us and then about 2 minutes before they started a guy about 6'10 and 300lbs. (I am not exagerating, he was one of the biggest men I have ever seen)came and stood right in front of her. People around us yelled at him and my friend even poked him with her cane and said, "I have been waiting here for 20 minutes." He just ignored her. It was too crowded by then for her to opperate her chair so several burly guys close to us picked her up chair and all and moved her over a few feet I am sorry I am not really helping you with this problem. Just comparing notes really. But I have been told that they are trying to find some way to accommodate wheelchairs for the fireworks. A personal suggestion might be (if you can sacrifice seeing Tinkerbell fly) is to go to Small World. The projections on SW are great and when my husband and I did it there was NO crowd. The view of the fireworks themselves is great from that point as well. Good Luck!!!

It's a great spot for you and your boys though. you can sit next to the toon town enterance and see the fireworks and watch the projections on SM.
