I keep having flashbacks of my favorite things...(Good Memories)
1.Stepping off the Magic Express Bus from the airport and hearing the Xmas music in the POP Century entry.
2.Requesting a different room location and getting a great room location...Building 5-336 Loved my room on 3rd floor on the far end with a view of the lake every morn and evening when I opened my door...Did I mention new carpeting and new TV's?
3.Love to return "home" back to my room late at night and kids are still in the pool at midnight...But this time it was freezing cold & of course Kids in the Pool...Crazy Kids!
    4. Normally everybody is asleep on the dark bus ride after a long day at MK but one night all the single ladies started singing the words to The Brady Bunch. happily driving the bus driver and all men onboard insane They were covering their ears...then the Macarena song came on and we danced in our seats using our hands of course. We were all wide awake as we exited this "Party Bus"
5.I have never seen Cosmic Rays Starlight Cafe so crowded that castmemebers were directing all entrance to one door only with the long winding line (with the ropes)....just to order a Fastfood hamburger. I actually found that amusing since I was not hungry and I still got to see Cosmic Ray. He is too cool!
6.One early evening on the trainride around the MK as we passed thru the Indian Village I noticed the deer moving...wait a minute ARE THEY REAL? Yes apparently a family of deer live inside the MK and the castmembers have been watching the smallest grow.
7.I love the Holiday Decor in every hotel & most of the shops with specially themed trees and wreaths.
8.SANTA on Main Street where he belongs. I was so excited to see him I had to have my picture taken...remember when Santa and his sleigh full of toys were on DL Main Street USA? Really miss that treat and Disney actually released free professional photos of Santa in his sleigh...
9.Almost chose to boycott Main Street Electrical Parade since I am partial to it belonging at DL. I made new friends with people at Fantasmic and we all rushed over to get a curb seat and since I helped them maneuver the quik route from HS to MK they bought me a souvenir light up snowman toy. And when the lights dimmed and the music started very happy indeed!
    10. Speaking of "F" I know I am the only one to feel this way but I now prefer WDW's dragon over the new DL version. THe incredible wingspan on the original and he really seems to be threatening Mickey and all of us in the crowd. The new one at DL reminds me of an inflatable Macy's Parade Float. Sorry that is just my opinion, tho.
11.Food: Macadamia nut pancakes at Kona Cafe in the Poly Resort
Turkey dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern i told the waitress it was better than homemade and don't forget to request the extra gravy
SCI-FI Drive In...way too much fun seriously bring it to DL,please.
Ghiradelli old fashion Soda Shoppe usually have the Hot Fudge Sundae w/whipping cream but wanted to try the Ghiradelli Hot chocolate so I ordered both and laughed when the server brought 2 spoons for sharing...too embarrassed to admit I was by myself and would never share no matter what. They serve hot chocolate w/melted marshmallow sauce and whipped cream on top VOTED BEST EVER by me!
to be continued as I have more memories!

Does anybody else know of special memories to remember?

My favorite memory from this trip is how much my grandson loved the charactors.
When he put his hands out to Rapunzel it was the cutest thing ever! He is 15 months old.

My favorite two memories of disney world involved my children meeting their princesses.
The first time I brought my kids to Disney World in april of 2009 ages 3,5 we went to epcot first and ate with the princesses seeing my 5 year old daughters face when she realized that ariel was there will never be forgotten,
also this year when we met tinkerbell and my daughter that talks all of the time was just in awe shock and couldn't say a word. I loved it. But we have great memories also. Swimming with the sharks, eating with the characters, playing in the water, seeing the parade and fireworks, boy do I want to go back.

The first instance of "BGM Music" is always a good one, I have to agree. For me, it's usually at the TTC or at EPCOT's Entrance Plaza as we stay offsite. When those sounds first hit you, and change the "mood" of your surroundings, it's the biggest "arrival" moment there is. You are IN Disney. You are immersed. It's great.

Can't wait to hear that on Friday! :D

Great TR, I'll be following along.

I looked for your brother at DCA and will try again this New Year's trip. I figured he was not the elderly gentleman or the lady working that night...
