Goofy is a buffet and if you choose Goofy I would go for an 11:30ish seating for breakfast as you can rise early and have a small breakfast and definately be read for a good meal around lunch time.

I like the idea of having the characters come to your table without waiting in line. While I was away from the table once Goofy was walking around the restraunt with my backpack purse on. DH was like I'm sure he'll give it back. I have to admit it was cute.

We had a character meal at the Storyteller's Cafe (GCH), but didn't have much character interaction. No matter where you go, be sure to make advance reservation...definately a must especially at Goofy's Kitchen!!

My problem with the menu was you have to order an entire meal (appetizer, entree, dessert) at a substantial price. My kids are small and don't eat that much so it was a huge waste of money and food. Plus, it took forever to get our food. We almost missed Fantasmic because it took nearly two hours to eat there! They absolutely adored Lilo and Stitch at the Paradise Pier though. Plenty of characters, loads of interaction and games, lots of photos and autographs. The breakfast is buffet so you wouldn't have to wait to eat. Goofy's kitchen was very crowded when we went and we only got two pictures (Genie and one of the chipmunks). My kids were not impressed. Whichever way you go, have fun:)

All in all, my favorite has always been The Plaza. We usually go off season, and once, Goofy sat down and ate an entire meal (well, watched while our daughter did) when she was around 3 or 4. It is a memory I will never forget -- and when he had to take a break, he brought his son Max over to amuse our daughter. Awesome memory!

You sure have that right thmar! The right castmember can totally make a "life-time" memory of a magical day.
