Well, Express Jet flys to Ontario, and beginning in November, the airline will also fly into Long Beach....a favorite DL airport. As some of you know, I hate to fly in the worst way. After my experience with Express Jet, I can honestly say that I actually look foreward to my next trip with them, and I truly enjoyed flying with them. No....it had nothing to do with the $1 beers....well, not entirely true there, but there were several things I liked. Take off and landing in 2.5 hours was great. More time to play, and less time in the air. I love non-stop. Leather seats...very comfortable. Free XM radio...DD listened to Disney tunes and I listened to CNN. REAL food. We had 3 choices for dinner, and it was quite good. Treats. About 30 minutes before landing, they came by with a tray of snacks to choose from. We were full by the time we got off. Service...they REALLY take good care of you. The flight attendant on both flights was extremely friendly and personable. With only about 50 people on the plane, both attendants made an effort to greet each person individually on the plane during the flight. One attendant played a trivia game with us on the way home. Back in the mid-70's he played one of the 3 pigs at DL. Many of his trivia questions were Disney related, and of course DD killed the competition, and won lots of treats for her correct answers. Every Express Jet employee we came in contact with seemed genuinely glad that we had chosen to fly with them. In the future, I will be flying with Express to Long Beach for my Disney trips. Check ithemout if they fly from your city. The prices are reasonable, and the flight was the ONLY time I have flown where I can say I liked it. DD said she will not fly Alaska any more because she liked this so much better.

Either way, I'm in DL sooner than flying Alaska.

Flying might take just as long Villians, but somehow you just aren't as "weary" when you get there. We always drive. I hate to fly--- but the last few times I've kept asking my husband, "can we fly?" After this last time of having to do all the driving himself (normally I do all the driving) he said, "want to fly next time?" LOL
