I am reading Priceless Memories by Bob Barker right now. He has a very intresting life. I suggest in September we read the 3rd Kingdom Keepers. Lets try to think of one to read and set a date to start.

The book is by a journalist who interviewed a lot of CMs and ex-CMs and got their stories of what really happens at Disneyland (or at least what the CMs say really happens). Some of the stories are critical of management, and some are harsh on the guests. There's a lot of "pulling back the curtain" and showing the reader how the magic works. There's also a memorable chapter detailing deaths, accidents, crimes, and lawsuits involving Disneyland. Not everybody enjoys that sort of thing, but I'd guess that most LPers would. If we decide that we want to pick "Mouse Tales" as our book, be aware that there are three editions: The original hardback, published in 1994 by Bonaventure Press, lists at $25.95, and can be hard to find: http://www.isbns.net/search/?q...64060555 The paperback, published in 1995, lists at $15.95 and is available from Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and bookstores nationwide: http://www.isbns.net/search/?q...64060562 http://booksinc.net/NASApp/sto...&x=9&y=2 An updated "Golden Anniversary" edition, published in 2005 as a hardback with a bonus CD, lists at $35.95 and is available from the Laughing Place store, as well as regular bookstores: http://www.laughingplacestore....5112.asp http://www.isbns.net/search/?q...64060548
