Originally Posted By Friar Tuck and Roll Sorcerer's Of the Magic Kingdom is played with a map, a set of 5 spell cards, and some walking. Players move from station to station, and at most view a type of video screen, and try to stop different villains of one of 4 possible lands (Main Street, Adventureland, Liberty Square, or Fantasyland). After each station, players are told where to go based on symbols that are clearly marked on the provided map. In the Kim Possible game players are given a cell phone device. The video for the game is all done on the cell phone, and players are given clues to help find and stop various villains from the Kim Possible show. The clues lead to different interactive areas that give more clues. Each game is contained within one of the World Showcase countries (UK, France, Japan, Germany, China, Norway, or Mexico). In the Sorcerer's game players are only required to find the marked locations, and pick which of their random spell cards to use. The Kim Possible requires decoding clues, finding different marker, locations, picking up objects, and maybe even be required to ask cast members for various clues. The stations for Kim Possible are blended fairly well with world showcase, and almost none using video effects. Actual props around World Showcase are used such as model trains, doll displays, wind chimes, phone booths, and other items. Overall the Kim Possible game is more detailed and better executed than Sorcerer. However, since it does use more physical props it will be hard to update. This is the advantage of the Sorcerer's game as it could be updated easier with different video, or even have multiple versions running at the same locations. The spell cards also add an element of collectivity that could lead to more repeat play.

Has anybody checked to see if the different cards activate different clues at each location? That would seem like a straighforward way to add some repeatability, as guests already have several choices, and it would put them in control of the outcome rather than being purely random. And although it was neat to see the physical effects for Kim Possible, I was never really sure how they tied into the story, and how we helped save the day. I think it would have been much more underwhelmed if I had watched a handful of video clips in store windows to save the day, but it seemed to me like some potentially interesting technology used in a very forced way. I don't know how to make it more natural and progressive from a story perspective (since the episodic stations didn't seem to build on one another), but I think that would help the experience tremendously.
