    Seems like an interesting choice. Theres definitely some fun stuff in the film and incredible animation, but it really doesn't have much of a story arc. I imagine they will go back and pick up a lot more stuff from the original stories to round it out

    I wonder if Pinocchio will be played by a kid or an adult. I think it would work much better with a real boy (so to speak), but it would also be a tough role for a kid since he's in practical every scene

    The article did mention going back to the source book, but I like that it also mentioned going back to songs cut from the movie to flesh it out. If done right this could be great. The choice of director - the guy who did Once - hints that this could be a smallish intimate show. Which again would be great.
