I also like that once you're inside you're pretty isolated from the world -- you can't see tons of people waiting to eat, etc.

    Just my two cents...

When we were there in February we had the Spinach and Artichoke Dip for an appetizer. For entrees I had the Reuben Sandwich and my wife had a Burger... not fancy food but it was well prepared.

Sure your going to find a better selection on the menu's at some of the other restaurants at MGM. But its a fun place to eat and the food is good, maybe just not memorable.

See now we've been there probably 10 times in the last 20 years and I have never found the food terrible.

This is a different kind of sit down meal though -- as the best items there are the burgers ( very good) - the milk shakes are very good, and the sleeper is a vegetarian chili ( Walt's favorite recipe) -that is excellent.

Those are the types of things to order ( oh yeah and the fries are pretty good too ) ---

the whole family enjoys it-- it is definitely a lunch vs dinner place though IMHO

    EXACTLY!

We were very satisfied with our Ruben Sandwich and Burger. The trick is to order simple food at the Sci Fi. Save the fancy stuff for the Hollywood Brown Derby!

Of course, maybe I loved them so much because I had the server make me a "special" shake. They made me a Bailey's shake, it was REALLY good, and I enjoyed the burger all the more!

Ive never had a bad meal there and wouldnt say the food was "BAD" It just pales in comparison with other Disney Table Service restraunts
