We had a long flight with a lay over on December 24th and didn't get to tampa until 12 am. it was nice to get off of the plane and it was technically Christmas already! We drove to our hotel from Tampa which only took a little over an hour. We were hungry and we got a wonderful hot dog from 7-11 LOL. We got to our holiday in hotel which we were very surprised by. Our room had a king bed with a fridge, big flat screen and a very nice washroom. We went to bed almost right away because we had a long day ahead.

    Day one

We got up at 7 and got to Epcot at opening time. We got the best parking spot ever! We were so close to the front gates and no tram was needed. This was the first awesome parking spot we have ever had at a Disney park. We had to go to guest relations and upgrade our Disneyland premier passes to Premier passes. It was really nice not having to deal with going to a processing centre. We went through the front gates and took a picture at the huge tree. We first headed to test track and got fast passes. We decided to ride it anyways seeing as the ride was about a 30 min wait. We really liked TT i had no idea what to expect and was glad it was more than just a speed ride. I did wish the ride was a little longer but, it was a good ride. We went to get Mission Space fp's and then decided to try Sum of all thrills. We thought it was fun getting to create your own ride and it was actually kind of fun. We had no interest in checking out the rest of the building so we left. We went to MS and chose the orange side. At the beginning of the ride we found it made us feel a little sick. I was happy the rest of the ride calmed down a bit. We didn't really care for the ride and we agreed it would be the one and only time we rode it. We didn't have any coffee yet so i really wanted to pay a visit to Norway. We walked past Mexico and hit the Norway bakery. My husband had the Viking coffee and i just had the Bailey's. We had a snack but, i really can't remember what it was. Our $9 coffee's really hit the spot. We saw Maelstrom is that spelled right? and we decided to ride it. my husband really got a kick out of it and found it funny. I think the ride is really well done and i was surprised at how much i enjoyed it. After looking around for awhile we headed to Morocco and shared a Shwarma platter at Morocco. I liked the look of morocco but, i really hate the smell of inscents for some reason. We didn't really care for China much, something just didn't look and feel right to me. Japan was awesome! we thought everything looked beautiful. Germany was great too. We really liked the miniatures and of course Andy loved the Bier! The other pavilions were ok but, Germany, Norway, Japan and Morocco was our favorite. We least liked Canada and the US. It's funny seeing your Country featured because it's like hey this is what Canada looks like. It was funny to see merchandise with beaver and moose everywhere when i have never seen either in nature LOL. After the showcase we hit up the Sea Pavilion which was great! It was so neat that a giant aquarium was part of Nemo. We went to see the dolphin which kept playing with a ball under water. I was a little concerned seeing only one dolphin.i know they are very social and i was hoping there was another one somewhere else. After doing the sea we decided to go back and use of TT fp's. The line was well over an hour now and the fp's came in handy. It was a little early for our biergarten reservations but, we decided to check in early. We waited about 30 mins and got in. Ok, so this is where it gets uncomfortable. I knew we would be at a table with others but, i didn't know we would be with a huge party. The party we were with seemed a little uncomfortable and thought it was weird. They were 6, we were 2 and it was Christmas dinner lol. Anyways, we decided if the food looked good we would just stick it out. We looked at the food and DH didn't seem to impressed. He doesn't like buffets much and for some reason he didn't remember me telling him that. We left and we were happy we saved money anyways. We wanted to eat at Japan but the line was crazy!! i think the candlelight made it really busy in that area. Somehow we found our way to the land and ate at the sunshine plaza? i am not sure if thats the name or not. We ate chinese food and even for me i found the portion really tiny :( After dinner we rode the little ride they had about vegetation or whatever the heck it was about. Kind of a weird ride and i don't think it really taught us anything lol. The land pavilion felt very weird and wrong to me. It was like a mall with rides. We both thought it was kind of an ugly and strange setting. Our original plan was to visit the MK for a few hours but, i was so tired from the traveling i just wanted to leave and go to sleep. On our way out we saw some lizards which were so cool and a giant cockroach! DH didn't believe me they had giant roaches until he almost stepped on it. We really appreciated our easy close parking spot and got back to the hotel within 15 minutes.

I forgot to add that we did the ride in mexico at some point. We thought it was a cute ride and thought the atmosphere of the San Angel looked nice!

We really enjoyed the world showcase, but didn't care much for the rest of Epcot. The rest of Epcot seemed kind of sterile, cold and dated. Disney is lucky WS is the star of Epcot.

I was lucky enough to spend one whole day and two half days there last week: I'll save the rest for my trip report. Too bad our trips didn't overlap at all. That's unfortunate that the party of six at Germany were acting weird. Looking forward to reading more.
