It might be worth having on tape in case you need a 20-minute break this weekend or something.

Of the many SNL impersonations .. that was one of the best I ever saw!

Great to see Bill Murray! Looking great! I was hoping Tina Fey was going to do something .. Oh well .. Only so much you can get in one one half hour.

The Hall and Oates bit was cute too!

That "fix it" character? Abort abort abort. Just stopped the show cold.

Really and Oh My God is always a funny bit(even when the show is going bad)

My favorite joke of the night: OJ Simpson broke up with his girlfriend of ten years, not OJ breaking up but regular people breaking up.

That's Chris Parnell. He used to be a regular, but was dropped last year along with Horatio Sanz. I never understood dropping those two, as they were always consistently funny.

William Murray was refreshing with the Cubs question....Man I hate the Dodgers!

Wow.....that's just plain weird, huh? xoxo

LOL! I forgot about that. That line did make me laugh out loud.

<<Asking the simultaneous questions was pretty clever.>>

That was a very funny concept, but not great as parody. In the real debate, all Brokaw did about the length of the candidates' answers was whine.

<<I think the letdown was no Tina Fey>>

You nailed my reaction, SPP. I had been so amazed by SNL's recent Palin-based skits that this episode sort of disappointed me. But, in retrospect, it did have its moments, as pointed out on this thread.
