So many decisions to make. We have decided to try the Ayeres Hotel Anaheim. It was a little hard to give up doing a AAA package because we like the lanyerds and stuff that comes with it. We also love Hojo's and Candycane Inn, however, in the last year we have discovered our children are gluten and lactose intolerant. Kinda hard to take advantage of CCI breakfast when it is all muffins, bagels ect.

Ayers says it has eggs, some sort of meat and hashbrowns as well as the other more traditional breakfast buffet stuff. Also there are fridges and microwaves in the rooms, so I think this will help with food issues- we'll have a place to store almond milk and goatmilk for cereal snacks...
Anyway they don't have a shuttle from Anaheim Ayeres like they do for the Orange Ayeres (trip advisers gave Anaheim Ayeres better marks)so I bought the Disney pass's from AAA for the free parking...

You have to buy your tickets from travel services if they are for more than 3 days, which made it a "travel package". While on the phone the person setting up the tickets said "No she doesn't want the souveniers" When he was put on hold, I asked him what that meant- "What souveniers don't I want? and how much do they cost?"

I got the lanyerds, luggage tags, coin and early entry added to our "package" for an extra $3 a person!I am so excited that we still get the Disney envelope from AAA. They also asked if I wanted to add a meal plan, tour or character breakfast with the AAA discount. I declined, but was told that I could bring my reciept to the AAA office in downtown Disney and still buy the extra items if I wanted to with a discount.

All this because the 4 day ticket turned from passes to a travel package!

I also found out that these tickets are eligible for upgrade to an annual pass - which we will do during our stay.
I had to call twice though. The first time I said that I wanted to purchase Disneyland tickets and they said they don't do that on the phone. When I called again the agent told me that I was purchasing a "Passport Plus". Apparently those are the key words to get this package deal through AAA.
    Thanks for the great tip!

I am sure if you give them a call they will answer all of your questions and check into all available options.
This was particulary nice for me since the hotel where we are staying had no remanining AAA vacation packages available. We were able to book our hotel directly with the AAA discount and now still get a few package perks with our tickets.

I did ask why it was more $ than at Disney on-line and they said the prices were all changing- so I don't know about $3 or $7.

Also- I can't wait to get the envelope and I have to! I pick it up on Monday.

    cheers,

There were other options that I could have added on, but I chose to skip them.

Oh Tinkerbell. I can't wait to leave this reality and enter yours! Please, please let the beds at Ayers be comfortable and snuggly, the blinds dark and cozy, the freeway noice non-exsistent and the bedbugs far, far, away with Shrek somewhere else!

My AAA trip envelope had all the same stuff in it that WendyT did. We leave on Sunday. Happyhappychairdance.
