Originally Posted By EdisYoda It depends on the show. Also, if they are going for high definition, they may not have high definition video cameras or equipment available to them due to cost. Only a guess of course, but it's usually artistic.

Originally Posted By DlandDug I worked on a project that showcased a High Definition projection video. For the sequel, the producers went back to film, then had it projected in High Def. Even though the HD video was more expensive, the film "looked" richer. Go figure.
