We did get enough snow off the lawn to make a 2 ft. snowman that lived on our porch for about 24 hours(of course he got shorter by the hour-in fact, he looked more like a duck after about 16 hours). Around the area we had snow on most of the mountain tops. We took a drive up to one of the county parks and played a bit in the paring lot, threw some snowballs at each other, and built a 4 ft. snowman. It something we are just not used to, but it is very nice to look at. Thanks for asking!

Hey Stacers76, we drove to Sac yesterday too, our son was running a half marathon (in the pouring rain). Driving is tricky, most people seem to be getting the hang of driving in the crazy unsafe weather but there are those idiots who just barrel on. Many accidents and road closures lately. We have been giving ourselves extra travel time but have been lucky so far.

Crazy weather this year.

Sacramento isn't considered the Bay Area (yet) although with so much housing and development all along I-80 now, one would be hard pressed to explain where the Bay Area stops and the Sacramento area begins!
