    Look for the TV show "Disneyland After Dark". It is on Disk #2 of the "Disneyland USA" set of the "Walt Disney Treasures" series in the tin boxes. That show had footage of Armstrong playing on the Twain. It's cool. He and his band played in that large flat area on the middle deck towards the rear of the boat, between the rear left and right stairs. I think the "saloon" is forward of that spot. The place that the band set up on is a fairly large and open area, almost big enough to be a dance floor!

In fact, for the '64 concert I know he played at 20,000 Leagues in Tomorrowland. The shows were at 8pm and 2am. Both the '64 and '65 (8pm and 2am also) shows were held in September.

    A show at 2am? That whole show on the boat seems to be comprised of invited guests for some special event. Everyone seems to be very well dressed, and there was obviously a camera crew as well. Not your typical night on the Mark Twain.

Ah those night cruises on the Twain were so magical. the lights on the boat and shore, the thundering falls. I love Fantasmic, but i do miss those night cruises.
