I heard the Yacht Club has a large Carousel made of chocolate, and AKL has a little african village made of chocolate. Please any help you can provide before we arrive Nov. 28th.

So I guess it matters how close to Christmas you go.

We never miss WL it was our 1st deluxe and our 1st stay was the wk of Christmas when our youngest was in the CP. We decided on WL because we are from the midwest and didn't want to feel completely away from home @ Christmas. Needless to say we were not disappointed. The decorations took our breath away. That was 2003 and we have returned to see the decorations every yr since regardless of where we are staying. The GF is not to be missed because of the full size Gingerbread House. We always make the rounds and love every minute.

We spent quite a while there last year. Even my nephew (who was 7 at the time) just loved it. I took tons of pictures. I also loved the gingerbread house at the American Adventure.

Disney lets us be the true Christmas elves as 90% of the sites and loops are decorated better than most homes in your local neighbor are decorated and they all pretty much all Disney themed to boot! I know I for one since '93 have been hauling boxes of lights, garland, blow ups and anything else Disney related to decorate my camp site. One year I even rented three cabins and had all three cabins decorated inside and out. Those of us that camp there year round also decorate year round. For Halloween theirs trick or treating and other goolish delights and decorations and we even have a fourth of july golf cart parade on the fourth, but nothing beats the Christmas holiday at FW. I'd say especially if you've been there and done that with the other Disney resorts and you want a new unique experince have your guests services CM give you the campfire movie schedule for FW and plan at trip over to roast marshmellows and watch a Disney movie outdoors on a large projection screen. After the movie and it's good and dark and if you're up for some excercise take a walk around some of the loops and check out everyone's christmas decorations. Those of that stay at FW rent or bring or bikes and bring or rent golf carts, so you'll see us out and about checking out our neighbors sites too.
