Everest and Rocking Roller Coaster in WDW, and it terrified me.......does anybody else do this? has anyone else had a 7 year old at 49 inches tall ride Screamer?

As long as he fits the height requirements, I'll say don't worry. Though I do understand the whole sweating palms thing, lol.

Ride next to him, keep one hand on his leg to assure yourself he's anchored, and get it over with! :)

Of course, I lift out of my seat a little on the bunny hops of CA Screamin', too. But it's designed for you to do that.

My daughter is 49" but only 48lbs and she did not feel secure in the restraint and asked to get off and the CM's stopped the ride immediately and let her off - with a very nice maybe next time - This came after months of her being too short and crying because she couldn't ride. Go with your gut.

Are you having sweaty palms with concern over your little one or is it because you are scared? We ride anything the kids and grandkids rioe and somethings they won't. Have funºoº

Sure enough, she loved it and went over and over.

Cal. Screamin is far more tame than RnRoller--it is a much longer ride but not nearly as intense.
