It has been 15 months since I was last there...leave in 73 days but who is counting? LOL!!! People at work always ask when the next time I am going is. Go to WDW every 3-4 years but just do not get the total relaxation feeling.

No traffic, different food and a real escape for the reality of daily life. We don't get burned out on DL anymore. We thought that any vacation would be the same and its not.

I plan to buy an AP and try to go at least twice a year. We return for five days in the park in a few weeks. Once I enter the park I also feel the stress melting away and it just makes me happy to be there. The saddest time of the year is when I know I am looking at Cindy's castle for the last time on that particular visit as we leave the park. I always have to pause and take a good long look.

Nothing can replace the love and attention from loved ones but Disneyland will always have a special place in my heart for providing me sanctuary at a time the world felt hostile to me. May Disneyland be as good to others as it has been for me.

At Disneyland's 50th he was missing, we had all met at Hungry Bear; anyway the Mark Twain goes by with the band playing music and there is my Dad on the top deck with a big smile on his face...he had been following the band around the park.
