I was in Hong Kong for one night last month on a connection. I had the day all planned out. Ngong Ping 360 / Giant Buddha, TST waterfront, The Peak, and then Lan Kwai Fong. On the way back from the Buddha, I couldn't resist the temptation to pop into HKDL for a couple of hours. As a result, by the time I got to TST and had dinner, I was exhausted and had no more energy for the day, so I missed The Peak and LKF. I was so disappointed, but when jetlag hits you like a freight train, there's not much you can do. I wanna go back!

It's my second favorite city in the world (Compton is my first since i was born and raised there ;D). If you are referring to the park, can't argue there lol, but the city is amazing, one of the most amazing in the world. In fact, looks like I will be there again in 3 weeks time .

But one should go for the city first, and then experience the park as a bonus.

I know this all sound like hyperbole, but Hong Kong is nothing short of fantastic!!
