But alas, I have no ticket Then we ambled around NOS for a while- visiting the newly refurbished Pieces of Eight. They have some great new merchandise in there... a skull that you can fill up with 20 pieces of "loot" (i.e. rubber snakes and bugs, eyeballs, a compass, and some other stuff) as well as some really cool postcards for the new ride. They look vintage, but they show some of the changes in various scenes throughout the ride. There were also some wicked awesome pirate rings for sale... I almost bought one, but then I saw the price Then we had a looksy at the new menues for Cafe Orleans and BB. THe BB was not officially open, however they were having soft openings. I can't wait to eat there soon. Maybe the weekend of July 17th? After doing single rider on splash Mt., riding the train (half a round trip, due to one of the trains on the track breaking down and thereby stopping all subsequent trains) and doing some pin trading, we went over to DCA. We did a single rider on Soarin' and Screamin' (twice!). I hadn't been on screamin' in ages, and it is alot of fun. Next was a ride on TOT, which was a pretty short line. When we got off, we grabbed a hotdog to split before we hightailed it back to DL to use our fastpasses for Space. Space was grand, as always. We took a picture with our camera of the picture on display. We split another hotdog on Main St (Coke Corner), and relaxed a little as we listened to the Piano Player. Then it was off to do Jungle Cruise, the Mattahorn, and the Mark Twain. We split a Sundae at the Gibson Girl and were on our way home by 9. It was a great day... Now look below for my pics!
