I have no idea what the crime is like around DL and want to know if I should rethink my plans. TIA!

I have gone with just one kid up to all the kids - The only time I was a bit uncomfortable was staying/walking alone with my DD and my 2 nieces and that more the hotel (anaheim plaza hotel) and it's property than the street!
On harbor I have stayed at hojo's, Carousel, BWPPI, Desert Inn -

Anaheim has a lower crime rate than most major U.S. cities: http://anaheim.areaconnect.com...ime1.htm

That's not to say that crime is unknown here. You may want to review these crime prevention tips from the LAPD: http://www.lapdonline.org/prev...iew/7732

Mostly, it's a matter of using common sense. Some tourists seem to leave their brains at home when they travel; don't be one of them, and you'll be fine.
