Granville's Steakhouse obviously has steak has a specialty. Catal always has some kind of steak on their menu, even though they have other things as well. Hook's Pointe usually has some kind of steak on their menu as well.

Blue Bayou inside Disneyland offers a prime rib, though I don't know if they technically offer steak.

Hook's Pointe and Catal would probably be comparable in price for steak. Granville's and Hook's have more limited menus than do Napa Rose and Catal, so where you choose might depend on what you'd like to spend, and more importantly, what you might be feeling like having. Since all of those locations would fit the bill for your husband, you'd have to see which restaurant offers entrees that interest you.

It seems to run about $20 to $30 per person all depending on what you get. Our son usually gets a very pricey dinner but eats it all. So we don't mind paying good money for a nice dinner and its nice to splurge when you are at Disney.

For my money, I much prefer Catal, but it's a personal preference. It's been a while since I've been to Hook's but I think they're probably in the same range. Of course, it depends on what one actually orders, but I'd say the median price is probably close among the three.

Don't forget to come back and tell us where you went and how it was!

Have you ever eaten at the Napa Rose? We have taken a quick peek at the menu. If you have how was the food? Is there a dress code?

One more quick question sorry there are so many but you have been oh so helpful. Have you ever eaten at the Yamabuki? Thanks

I love Napa Rose. It's the best restaurant at the Disneyland Resort, and that's not just my opinion. They've won many prestigious awards among the Orange County restaurants.

    If you go here: <a href="http://www.colddeadfish.net/dlrdining.html" target="_blank">http://www.colddeadfish.net/dl
rdining.html</a>, and then scroll down a bit, you'll see a number of Napa Rose dinner reviews that I've posted.

There is no dress code that I'm aware of at Napa Rose. It is a high-end restaurant, but they also understand that they're on resort property and that some of their diners will have spent at least part of the day at an amusement park. I've been there dressed in jeans and a t-shirt and dressed business casual and have gotten the same great service either way. I've even seen people dressed in shorts. It's pretty much the perfect dining experience.

    > Have you ever eaten at the Yamabuki?

It's been a while since I've eaten there. My dinner companions said the teriyaki was good. I don't think anyone had tempura - I'm not sure they even offer that, but I would expect so. The sushi was pretty good, but I'd been spoiled because we had a regular sushi place that we adored, and in comparison, Yamabuki's sushi wasn't as good. It's a little expensive, so the AP discount helped. We may actually be going back for dinner there in May, but we haven't decided yet.

I write entirely too much about food, don't I? ;)

No way I can't thank you enough for all the information you have given me. My DH will be so happy to hear about all the wonderful places that we have talk about. We were always worried that at the Napa Rose there was a dress code so that is why we never went in. He said the menu looked great but we did not want to upset anyone with jeans and a tshirt. That is really good to know. Thank you also for the web site I will go there and check it out. I am so excited about our next trip and dining somewhere new and yummy.

Thanks a million once again I really really appreciate you being so kind with all my questions. I may have more to come in the future. LOL

    Thanks Delena )

My wife and I had our first dinner last week at Napa Rose.

We were concerned about dress - we had our usual resort wear, but nothing dressy. And it was threatening to rain. We just put on our best jeans and nice shirts and went. We were warmly received, and the service was the best.

I had the filet as part of the Vintner's Table. It was flavorful, and perfectly cooked to medium rare, as suggested by Dondi, our server.

$75 for four wonderful courses. A splurge, but also an excellent value, considering the quality of the food, and the great presentation and service.

We always like to do one really nice dinner out and then the rest are places like the plaza Inn or the French Market but my husbands wants to have a good steak every trip and I don't blame him. He is nice enought to drive me, mom and DS down all the time from Northern CA. So dining at a nice resturant is a real treat for all of us. Thanks for your help. I really appreciate it!

I love there French Dips and my DH gets a huge Filet.

Thanks again for all the help I appreciate all of it. I have never eaten at an Outback the one in our area is about 45 min from our home and the time we went there it was over a 2 hour wait so we went some place else. Thanks )

Unless they've gotten LOTS better in the last multiple years, y'all can go without me. Only time I've been there, I was not whelmed by their food. I've been to many other places that were much more garlic heavy than there. Of course, the fact that I was there for a bridal shower that was held in the vampire room by a woman who seemed really not happy about doing it, and that we all ended up having to pay for our own meals without having been told ahead of time might have also tainted my experience...

We're trying out a new restaurant next Saturday that was recommended to us. Really looking forward to it, but there are so many good things on the menu, I haven't been able to decide what to have!

    The filets are wonderful.

AT Disneyland, Hooks Pointe had a wonderful steak last week. I don't remember what kind though. But, it was a 6 oz. melt in your mouth, savor each bite kind of a steak. It was served with a mild and a hot sausage(BTW: It wasn't very hot) on a bed of Garlic Mashed Potatoes. they also offered a 12 oz. without the sausages for $2 more, but I kept the sausaages. It was wonderful. I would reccomend it.
