It turned out to be a wonderful choice. Our server, Mike, let us know he was new on the job (only two days), but if he hadn't mentioned it we never would have known. The service was attentive, but not annoying in the slightest. We asked for ice water after ordering drinks - it was on the table within two minutes (I've waited up to ten minutes at other restaurants). He also went above and beyond. Our 8 year old son was with us and he's going through a growth spurt, meaning he turns into a bottomless pit at the table (no more kids meals for him!). He polished off his plate of pasta and, still being hungry, asked for more. We asked if an additional side of just pasta would be available to purchase. Mike went to the manager and came back with seconds on the house, even though that's not usually done. Top marks to Mike, hats off to the manager, thank you both for making our anniversary very special! And before I forget - REALLY, REALLY GOOD FOOD!
