It was blocked off .. and security guards detering people from even getting into DtD parking for DtD, because it was packed. But luckily .. before I drove away, the blockade came down into the DtD entrance .. and I got in without a problem. Point of the story ... entering the DLR looked insane for today ... and I thought I'd never see signs detering people from wanting to go to DCA!! :O) HAHAHAH! OBVIOUSLY .. all us more astute followers know the "2fr1s" must be used up soon ... So .. while DCA has to be given away for FREE to get people to come in ... DCA just might be able to make money on concessions, souvineers, and the restaurants. If only I had my camera! :O) Those signs "DCA Tickets Sold Out" were a real classic! We know tickets aren't sold out. The "Free" tickets have too many people coming in .. and overwhelming a park with a limited capacity. Coupled with good weather .. the 50th promotion .... and lets not forget "Monsters Inc." is a good little ride, the park apparently had plenty flooding in! HA!!! Too funny! Thought some of you might get a good laugh!

But to those of us who primarily go to WDW, it is kind of a big "So what?†What kind of attendance do you think MGM and Animal Kingdom would have if not for Multi-day passes and Hoppers? I don't expect those two parks to "carry their own weight" because I frankly doubt they could. But that doesn't make them bad parks. Just a real difference in perception between DL fans and WDW fans.

But to see those words - It's a hoot!

I know you feel like this is all confirmation that DCA is a failure; I am merely speaking from a pure business sense. The promotion was a success.
