Preparing as usual to head straight to the Matterhorn we happened into the shop with F! Steamboat snow globe.(Probably would have bought it if it hadn’t played “Zippity-do-da.â€) As you may have noticed if you have been reading my reports of this trip.....my hubby and I are very social and love to meet people. Esp. Disney freaks such as ourselves. Today was no exception as we met a couple from Death Valley also looking at the snow globes. The woman admired my gold Castle pendant and after talking about that I wanted to drag them to Disneyana to see the jacket I had purchased the night before. By now it was 9:00 and I said that they probably wanted to get going but they said no, they had all day. So we went. As a result of this there was a line by the time we got to Matterhorn. Probably 5 whole minutes! After that we did Storybook Boats again. We wanted to see Billy Hill at 11 so we got FP for Indy Then we went on Pooh and got FP for Splash. We did the Jungle Cruise and then it was time for Billy Hill. We had coffee and muffins and headed for Indy. By the time that was done it was time for Splash. It was so hot we did not bother with the waterproof clothes. That was all we had time for. No matter how much we have done I still get that let down when I have to leave. (This includes the time we were down there for 2 weeks and made it to the Parks 11 of those 14 days.) We did some shopping at WofD and I got one of the castle tote bags for $5. We got to the parking lot and our car by 2:10 so we did well. We stopped at our favorite Sizzler about half an hour north of MM. Then as is our usual routine; I drove the rest of the way home so my husband (who had to work next morning) could sleep. I have been coping with my post Disneyland-depression by watching my fireworks and F! videos. I even enjoy the video I took on Matterhorn WITH THE LENS CAP ON!!!!! Great audio effects. Thanks to anyone who takes the time to read this.
