Make sure and get a dinner at the Mrs. Knott's Chicken Restaurant, a LOT of food, so go hungry.

The shops around the restaurant have some unique things, things that you used to find at Disneyland, until the convert to just a lot of mass produced stuff.

If you are a history nut, go check out Independence Hall on the property (a true reproduction).

Camp Snoopy will hold their interest alone for a couple of hours of fun.

Then you got the Calico Mine Train, Log Ride, Ghost Town Railroad, Carousel, Sky Cabin, Wild West Stunt Show, Ghost Town exhibits, Calico Saloon Can Can Show, Big Foot Rapids (you will get wet), Wheeler Dealer Bumper Cars, Jaguar Coaster is pretty mild.

I think that Ghost Rider Coaster goes down the third week of Feb for maintenance. That's not for your kids though.

    Have fun!

For the coasters, their new one, Silver Bullet, is great as well as Xcelerator, which is similar to Screamin' in that it has a launch. Lots of fun. If you go on GhostRider, go in the morning. The track gets rougher as the day goes on, from what I've been told.

I second that Deadmans, I was sorely disappointed. It is what it is and no disprespect, but it's hard flying over from the East Coast, having an awesome time at DL, Legoland, Sea World, even Universal Hollywood, and after all that.....Knotts. I wish I had talked to people about it before I went there on my last day in CA. Live and learn.

I recommend Knott's to anyone, they have a great kids area in Camp Snoopy, awesome coasters such as Ghostrider, one of the highest rated wooden coaster in the world, Xcelerator, Silver Bullet and more. Plus family rides/attractions such as the Log Ride, the Mine Train, the Stagecoach, the Train, and Mystery Lodge.

    Plus great shows and food.

And heck, it is a bargain at the price.
