I saw an image of this Yogi a few months ago and thought it was just a gag -- someone rendering Yogi with the overkill of "3D" standard features: large, glassy doll eyes, over-rendered mangy fur, celebrity voices. I thought "Justin Timberlake as Boo Boo" was particularly funny. If I was making a movie poking fun at the lack of creativity and excess in Hollywood meeting calculated, cynical cashing in on a beloved brand, this would be a "film within a film" to illustrate the point. I still hold out hope that this is merely an elaborately staged prank by The Onion.
