Glad I wasn't the first to say it.

As a whole this movie looks cringe worthy.

I think it's worse than that.

The makers of this film have dug up the bodies of Daws Butler, William Hanna and Joseph Barbera and are doing unspeakable/unprintable things to them

I saw an image of this Yogi a few months ago and thought it was just a gag -- someone rendering Yogi with the overkill of "3D" standard features: large, glassy doll eyes, over-rendered mangy fur, celebrity voices. I thought "Justin Timberlake as Boo Boo" was particularly funny. If I was making a movie poking fun at the lack of creativity and excess in Hollywood meeting calculated, cynical cashing in on a beloved brand, this would be a "film within a film" to illustrate the point.

I still hold out hope that this is merely an elaborately staged prank by The Onion.

We gave them their lousy money. Haven't we suffered enough?

I give up. I'm expecting these upcoming films any day now...

QUICKDRAW McGRAW: Country great Tim McGraw lends his voice to this classic character and Jennifer Lopez plays Baba Louise. Teaser movie posters feature large headlines such as "McGRAW is McGRAW" and "PASS THE EL KABONG".

SECRET SQUIRREL: Secret Squirrel (Bruce Willis) is back, this time working to stop terrorists from stealing the world's nut supply. Billy Bob Thornton is Morrocco Mole.

SQUIDDLY DIDDLY: John Goodman provides the voice of Bubbleland's favorite squid as he attempts to save the park from an unscrupulous time-share developer. "Hey! That's not one of my tentacles!" becomes the hit catch-phrase in the trailer, repeated by 7 year olds for months.

ATOM ANT: In this super hero origin story, we learn of Atom Ant's dark past and the painful memories that lead him to use his powers to fight the forces of evil. It's an entirely live action film, starring The Office's Ed Helms in a surprising dramatic role. Directed by M. Night Shyamalan with a budget of $185 million.
