I just hope it never comes to Paris, would rather have something else.

I am sure this attraction has a loyal fanbase but sometimes change is good, and in this case it certainly is, as Mickey's Philharmagic is a much better attraction.

Well, that makes sense, since the location where Mickey's Philharmagic first opened was also the original location of Mickey Mouse Revue. Count me in the list of folks who will be really sad to have never experienced the original show, but I understand why it's going. I do sort of wonder what will be done with all the AA's after it closes. They are hardly cutting edge, but seem like they could definately be used elsewhere if they were redressed to their new location, similar to the America Sings and World of Motion AA's that got distributed through the parks.

PhilharMagic is consistently one of the highest rated attractions not only in the Magic Kingdom, but also in all of WDW by Guests. As someone whose job it is to take people to watch Mickey's PhilharMagic, I've NEVER heard one negative word spoke against it. When people pay $215 an hour for me to take them & their families to see things like Mickey's PhilharMagic, I'd hear pretty darn quickly if it was "less than average!" Trust me on that, Stitch's Great Escape & Tiki Room Under New Management hasn’t been on my itinerary in years. I guess your opinion is a first… While I am indeed VERY sad to see the Revue pass, PhilharMagic is a huge Guest pleasing attraction that I suspect will be an even larger hit with the Japanese Guests & their love of character based attractions.

Nope, sorry, don't care if I never see Phil again. I don't hate it, but I do think it is overrated (I even prefer Stitch's Gt Escape). But given we are talking the MK, it is the poor relation to the rest of the Disney parks around the globe, so maybe that accounts for Phil's reception? Or maybe I was raised to enjoy the theming of Disney and raising the bar. I wasn't raised in the cash in on character licence culture that makes me sick about modern Disney. Let's put the Walt back in Disney, I miss the vision.

Between this and Turtle Talk it sounds like WDI has been very successful at selling the OLC on these cheap film-based attractions. But on the other hand you do have Monsters opening so I guess overall it's still largely positive in Tokyo! (and I am sure MMR is dated!)

It just felt so "Disney" to me when I saw it. Very sad day.
