When do schools start in Southern Cal??

    ^^And bear in mind that year round schedule doesn't mean that a kid attends school 12 months a year. It means that the school doeson't close for summmer and that different kids/classes get off during different times of the year.

    Cal State schools in the area start the week before Labor Day. UC schools don't start until the end of September. ALL Long Beach Unified schools start September 6th. I'm thinking the week after Labor Day would be a good time to go. Could be pretty warm, though!
