Plus I remember it from my childhood so it has the whole nostaligic thing going on for me. I do find it funny that most kids these days, including my own 8, 9, and 10 year olds have no idea who Pete and Elliot are from Pete's Dragon, they just love the dragon.

Picked my jaw up from off the ground after ogling at how beautiful, impressive and mega-fun that night parade was. 2. Wonder over and over and over, "Why don't they just do something like that for Disneyland?!?". And yet, somehow, DCA trundles on with the cut down, downsized, Electrical Parade circa 1978. Funny how they don't even bother with the tenuous "A California Classic" tagline anymore, which Cynthia Harriss had installed on the floats in July, 2001 when they shoehorned that old parade into that park after it fell flat on it's face upon opening in February, 2001. If TDA can't figure out what to do with a night parade, just hop on a plane and visit Tokyo Disneyland, because they are doing it brilliantly over there.

I wish I could find a place in DCA that lends itself in atmosphere to the parade the way MS did.
