It is the same as what has been said on the Christmas crowd topic. Anytime you have a period when the majority of people have time off the park is going to be packed. Your only hope, IMHO, of having a light crowd during any holiday is if the weather is nasty.

Disneyland guidebooks have been warning against visiting during Thanksgiving for years before the Internet came along, so it's pretty common knowledge. But now you've heard it from the Internet too. Expect massive crowds and extremely long lines for everything. They often have to close the turnstiles and stop selling tickets during Thanksgiving weekend. It's legendary.
