The placement of this new ride is interesting because part of it wraps around the Sky Trek tower. I wish the park nothing but the best with this new edition! And i also wish the Six Flags Great America park near Chicago a wonderful 2013 season!

It looks like it's taking up some of the real estate formally occupied by the old Willard's Whizzer coaster. Finally this park is getting a new major attraction. It seems like it's been forever since they built anything new there worthwhile.

Silver Dollar City (about 30 minutes from my home) is opening a new woody this year. It has the steepest drop of any woody in the world, is the second fastest, and the first ever to turn riders upside down with two barrel rolls. The best part is that a Season's Pass to SDC costs less than $90.

And by the way --imagine what a wonderful tool CGI Is for creating roller coasters. Sure does make it easier to sell to the sharp pencil boys. ;)

I've been on some of the best ones in the country, including my all-time top pick, The Beast at Kings Island in Ohio. That coaster is absolutely amazing, especially at night! Its set in a forest and if im not mistaken, its still the worlds longest woody.

Nice things about Silver Dollar City include that the admission is fairly low (especially on a season pass) and lodging in the Branson area is inexpensive. It can be a fairly low cost trip.
