I have not been a fan of the planned out fast passes and actually wondered why some of you were excited about them coming to DL...
Well that has changed....with the enforced times to return....I would now welcome being able to reserve a time that I want to ride a ride...
We found ourselves choking down food to make that one and only fast pass before the time expires.

And people please....when you are waiting for the last minutes to tick by so you can join the fast pass line.....don't stand right in front of the entrance....and then give me a dirty look when I say excuse me....guess what...I only have 1 minute until my fast pass expires.

And....if you are in one of the motorized rides....don't put your 5 year old on the front...yelling out...."move....we are coming thru"
    You look ridiculous!

And the duck that almost took off your son's fingers...well if you would have looked alittle closer than talking nonstop to cousin Jenny....your son was poking it with straws and everything else his chubby little hands could grab (while TMRR was broke down....before we were asked to leave the line).....the duck was protecting it's eggs it was sitting on

And please .......don't stop walking dead center in a huge crowd....we tend to not be able to read your mind and walk right into you!

    I know...I know...I sound crabby
Actually, I had a great time
I am just more "observant" as I am aging!

We decided to wait in line one nite to ride it in the dark....naturally we started talking to this adorable group of 6 teenage girls and one boy....
All at once this teenage boy just appears ...we had been waiting about 15 minutes at this point..
He says hi to my son....really tall kid..
I assume he is with the group ahead of us...
About 15 more minutes later....I notice he is about 2 lines ahead of us....
THEN....about 10 minutes later...with us with over a hour longer to go...I see him waiting at the very front of the last line to line up for a car..
I ask the group ahead of us....wasn't he with you???
Nope was the answer....SO....we all 9 start yelling "Robert (we have no idea what his name is)...HOW DID YOU GET THERE???? YOU ARE SUPPOSE TO BE BACK HERE WITH US.....YOUR FAMILY!!
Then the guy right behind him says...man, you line jumped....and the cast member is talking to him and the next thing we see is him leaving...
Now, even though we were so far behind him time wise....we had just happen to line up perfectly at this moment
The crowd cheered as he walked away...
Poor "Robert"....he should have stayed with the "family"

ORWEN: But then he came back as if wanting to leave the line.

ORDDU: The next thing we knew, he was cutting back up to the front again--as if he couldn't find whomever he was looking for in line.

ORWEN: That's when someone else in line yelled out, "Hey, buddy! Don't you know whether you're coming or going?"

ORDDU: At that point the man just tried to find the closest way to exit the line so he could disappear from everyone's view. He apparently never rode the ride he was in line for and it made no sense that he kept leaving the line only to return and snake his way through it.

    ORGOCH: Got Demensia?

    >>Wow. It sounds like crappy WDW guest behavior has spread west...<<

At least in WDW, it seems like most guests are well intentioned but completely oblivious to the fact that they're in the way. At DLR, it always seems like the well-seasoned guests typically know better, but choose to ignore common decency. It's also made worse by the smaller park layouts, leading to traffic jams even when everything is flowing well

I think I have finally figured out why he did not use the single rider line....while the wait was still pretty significant for a single rider line...people would have surely noticed him "moving up" alot faster ...

I will share a story from many years ago. this took place at a special event in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle. The set up was such that the general public was confined to two areas, set up to the left and right of the open plaza in front of the drawbridge. Many of us had been patiently waiting for hours, and had staked out spots that would allow a clear view for cameras and videos.

Just as the last announcement was made, there was a stir at the back of the crowd as a man came literally barreling through the crowd, reached the front, plopped down cross-legged and began pulling out a video camera on a tripod.

We immediately, in unison, began calling to a security host that was stationed off to the side. He came over, figured out what was happening in an instant, and basically hauled the guy up, out and away just as the event began.

    We cheered.
