Until I get a PET/CT scan that says I'm free of cancer, though, I haven't been able to bring myself to make dining PS reservations. How soon do you really need to make the reservations? Can you get them for Storytellers Cafe? Are the only restaurants inside DL that take PS ressies the Blue Bayou, and the Carnation Cafe? I am not allowed to eat any buffet food, so we can only go places that offer counter service or ordering off the menu. As I posted in an earlier thread, I am trying to keep this trip, our firs with AP's, relaxed. My husband has gotten up early for every EE we've ever been eligible for, and has been there at gate opening every other day we've been there, and he's smiled through it, but I think he would really rather sleep in. Since we're going to be there over a weekend for the first time, we want to take advantage of DL at night. Would you say it was crazy to drive to DL on Thursday (OK, I can't give this up, we have to leave at 5 am right?!?!) arrive at the hotel around noon, hopefully get our room and check in to relax for a few hours. Then go, get our AP photos taken and spend a little time at DL. Would it be too much to have dinner at Napa Rose the same night, lol? We've always saved that for later in the trip, but the other nights we are there, DL is open until midnight. So I was thinking we could sleep in in the morning, and mostly enjoy the parks in the evening. My husband said he also wants to eat at the BB again. We ate their with our whole family our last trip, and he said he would like to go with me alone, sweet, huh. I'm wondering what day to make those reservations for, and what time. I'm at such a loss without the knowledge that I will be there no matter what when the park opens, it's so silly. Storyteller Cafe sounds like a good place for us to have a late breakfast or lunch one day, as we are staying at the GCH and have never eaten there. Maybe I should just let it go and not make plans, but it's hard. : ) A silly dilemma, but I think I've posted sillier. Any suggestions or comments would be appreciated. Thanks for all the help in the past.

Take advantage of it! Give them a call or drop an email. Tell them your circumstances. They are wonderful!! And remember, you can always cancel a PS. Make them to your heart's content, the refine the plan as the trip gets closer. I think relaxing in the hotel, a couple of hours in the park and dinner at Napa Rose sounds wonderful! Cafe Orleans now takes PS, too. They remodeled into a table service restaurant. So, you now have 3 choices in the park. Storytellers is wonderful. You should be able to get a PS close to your trip dates without a problem. But why worry? Have Vacation Planning make them for you!

Be prepared not to get into your room until the scheduled 3pm time frame. You can leave your luggage with the bellhop and go play, come back at 3pm to get into your room.

Then we will be free to take advantage of the park at nigh for our other evenings there. : )
